Luka R – The Wild Artist

Luka is an award-winning filmmaker known for his bold storytelling and genre-bending creativity. With years of experience crafting surf films, wildlife documentaries, skits, and even surfing musicals, his work merges raw adventure with artistic expression in a way that is uniquely his own.

Currently, Luka is in post-production on his latest feature wildlife documentary, SNAKES & SURF BREAKS – Indonesia, an immersive journey into the wild, set to release by the end of 2025. He is also in early pre-production for Vampire’s Surf, a fantasy surf film created in collaboration with his partner, Jaleesa, slated for release in 2026.

As well as a filmmaker, Luka is a painter, musician, professional snake catcher, and the founder of Fauna Friends – Wildlife Services, rescuing and relocating snakes while educating people about the wild creatures that share our world.
